Imperia and Monferrina joint stock company was founded in 2010 when Imperia, founded in 1932, bought La Monferrina, founded in 1978. The merger of these 2 production companies has created synergies that have led the company to have a range of products that responds to all the needs in the world of fresh pasta production. Currently the company exports to 130 countries around the world and is recognized as an excellence of Made in Italy.

The 2 brands differ in the target audience: Imperia produces pasta machines for home use and small catering, while La Monferrina specializes in the production of pasta machines, and more, for catering, laboratories and 'industry. In fact, in addition to pasta, the La Monferrina range also includes ravioli machines, crepes machines and gnocchi machines, with exclusive projects, designed and developed internally to make pasta of all kinds
